How will we be sent if we do not first behold in worship?
The original story of Antioch (Acts 13) shows ‘... while the church was worshipping and praying, that the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them”. So, after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.’
Worship is not separate from, but the starting point of a missions movement.
We believe Awaken Generation has been raised up to strengthen the Church to the First Commandment: to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and strength. And as the Church begins to behold God in worship, many will be raised up and sent out for the Great Commission.
