Worship Leading
Singapore & Online | English & Mandarin
Thrive in your priestly calling and lead with authority and confidence as worship leaders serving in your local churches. You will develop dexterity and adeptness in hosting an atmosphere of worship and learn to exercise your gifts with a pastoral heart, and prophetic ministry. Expect to grow to another level of leadership, skill in the musicianship of worship leading, and your depth of understanding of your roles as a worship leader.
Songwriting
Singapore & Online | English & Mandarin
You will be coached through a highly experiential process of crafting songs. Songwriters will build upon initial song concepts and ideas, mastering lyrical and melodic devices, and finally, to refining and delivering a song. Expect an environment of freedom and creativity where you will be challenged beyond your boundaries as songwriters. There will be opportunities to collaborate with other songwriters and musicians.
Leadership
Singapore & Online | English only
This course is a values-based practicum that builds upon key kingdom culture values to empower leaders to build healthy relational, missional, and Presence-oriented communities. You will be intentionally coached to your leadership potential through practical exercises, thoughtful discussion, ministry and scenario-based learning. The course is for leaders in both ministry and in the marketplace.
Vocals
Singapore | English only
Be coached through an engaging and stimulating process of understanding vocal production and discovering the best placement for your sound, Build confidence and musical expression to lead in worship and deliver vocal presentations. Expect a journey of reaching your full vocal potential. Besides the technical aspects of vocal anatomy, range, and strength you will also explore song interpretation and expression, culminating in vocal presentations in a safe environment.
Keyboard
Singapore | English only
You will be immersed in an enriching practical workshop where they will be strengthened in their foundational technique and theory. Gain the tools to add colour and vibrancy to your playing, in turn enhancing the worship band experience for all. As one of the instrument streams at Awaken Generation, you will be given the opportunity to collaborate with other streams during practical combined sessions such as band dynamics and arrangement.
Drums
Singapore | English only
Expect a mixture of analytical and practical lessons designed to bring greater awareness to the roles a worship drummer fulfils. You will be given handles on how to be intentional and musical in playing, and how to grow in creativity on the drum set in a wide range of worship situations. As one of the instrument streams at Awaken Generation, you will be given the opportunity to collaborate with other streams during practical combined sessions such as band dynamics and arrangement.
Electric Guitar

Be immersed in an enriching practical curriculum and be strengthened in foundational technique and theory. You will be equipped with the tools to add colour and vibrancy to your electric guitar playing to enhance the worship band experience for all. As one of the instrument streams at Awaken Generation, you will be given the opportunity to collaborate with other streams during practical combined sessions such as band dynamics and arrangement.
Dance
Singapore | English only
Grow in your identity & authority as a worship dancer, called out and chosen by God to bring Him glory. Lessons are structured for dancers to encounter God, receive teaching & impartation, and be activated so you will be equipped holistically to be a worship leader. You can expect to grow in shifting atmospheres, ushering in victory & freedom and revealing the beauty of God through dance.
